About Me

Hi, my name is Anthony Arendt and I'm from Canyon Lake, California. I'm passionate about the visual arts as an amateur painter, photographer, filmmaker and sculptor. My hobby is a wonderful distraction from the daily grind.

I was involved with the arts from an early age thanks to my mother, who is a dilettante art collector. There was always a lot of interesting artwork decorating the walls of our family house, and my parents used to take me to museums and art galleries on a regular basis. My taste eventually evolved to include digital media such as photography and filmmaking, but I still have a lot of respect for "analog" art forms such as painting and sculpting.

I have a few other hobbies, too. I like to go to the movies, and I enjoy a good book from time to time (especially when it's about the arts!). I spend a lot of time with my friends and family, and we still enjoy going to museums together.
